Quotations, Orders & Pricing
Quotation Validity
All quotations issued by RR Enterprises are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless a different validity period is explicitly stated on the quotation. After this period, we reserve the right to revise pricing based on current raw material costs, tooling requirements, and production schedule.
Order Acceptance
A purchase order becomes binding only upon written acceptance by RR Enterprises. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion. Acceptance of an order is confirmed through a formal written order acknowledgement from our team.
Pricing
All prices are quoted ex-works (EXW) from our Coimbatore facility unless otherwise specified. Prices exclude GST (Goods and Services Tax), freight, insurance, customs duties, and any applicable export fees. Final pricing for export orders will be confirmed in Incoterms-specific quotations (FOB, CIF, DAP as applicable).
Price Revisions
For orders with extended delivery schedules (beyond 60 days from order placement), RR Enterprises reserves the right to adjust prices proportionally if raw material costs (aluminium, stainless steel, alloy steel) change by more than 10% from the quotation date, subject to prior written notification to the customer.
Payment Terms
Payment terms are confirmed on the individual quotation and purchase order. Standard payment terms for RR Enterprises are:
- New domestic customers: 100% advance payment before production commencement
- Established domestic customers: 50% advance with balance due before dispatch, or agreed credit terms based on relationship and order history
- Export customers (new): 100% T/T advance or Letter of Credit (LC) at sight
- Export customers (established): 30–50% T/T advance, balance T/T before shipment or LC at sight
All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) for domestic orders, or in USD/EUR/INR as specified for export orders. Bank transfer details will be provided on our invoice. RR Enterprises does not accept cash payments for orders above ₹10,000 in compliance with applicable Indian financial regulations.
Late Payment: Overdue payments will attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) from the due date until the date of receipt. RR Enterprises reserves the right to withhold shipment of pending orders in the event of overdue payment on any existing order.
Delivery, Lead Times & Dispatch
Lead Times
Delivery lead times quoted are estimates from the date of order confirmation and receipt of full advance payment (where applicable). Standard production lead times are:
- CNC machined components (established drawings): 2–4 weeks
- CNC machined components (new components / tooling required): 4–8 weeks
- Aluminium castings (existing tooling): 3–5 weeks
- Aluminium castings (new tooling required): 6–12 weeks including tool manufacture and approval
- Pipe bending & fabrication assemblies: 2–4 weeks (standard); 4–8 weeks (complex assemblies)
Lead times may be affected by raw material availability, machine capacity, and order complexity. RR Enterprises will communicate any anticipated delays promptly and work to minimise the impact on your schedule.
Risk of Loss
Unless otherwise agreed, title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon dispatch from our Coimbatore facility (ex-works). For orders dispatched on CIF or DAP Incoterms, risk passes as specified in the applicable Incoterm.
Force Majeure
RR Enterprises shall not be liable for any delay or failure in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, government actions, strikes, raw material shortages, power outages, transport disruptions, or other force majeure events. In such circumstances, we will notify you promptly and work in good faith to fulfil the order as soon as practicable.
Quality, Inspection & Non-Conformance
RR Enterprises maintains a quality management system in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 principles. All components are manufactured to the drawings and specifications confirmed in the purchase order.
Inspection & Acceptance
Components are inspected in-house prior to dispatch. Material test certificates (mill certificates) and CMM dimensional inspection reports are provided on request and as specified in the order. The customer's right to inspect goods upon receipt is acknowledged and encouraged.
Claims & Non-Conformance
Any claims for dimensional non-conformance, material discrepancy, or other quality issues must be raised in writing within 14 days of receipt of the components, supported by photographic evidence and measurement data. Claims raised after this period may not be accepted.
If components are found to be non-conforming to the agreed drawing and specification, RR Enterprises' liability is limited to replacement, rework, or credit at our discretion. We do not accept liability for consequential damages arising from use of non-conforming components.
Customer-Supplied Drawings
RR Enterprises manufactures strictly to the drawings and specifications provided by the customer. We accept no responsibility for design errors or specification deficiencies in customer-supplied drawings. Any DFM (Design for Manufacturability) feedback provided by our team is offered as professional courtesy and does not transfer design responsibility.
Tooling, Fixtures & Intellectual Property
Where tooling, dies, jigs, or fixtures are manufactured specifically for a customer's component — and where the cost of tooling is charged to the customer — such tooling remains the physical property of RR Enterprises unless a separate written agreement specifying tool ownership transfer has been executed.
Customer-supplied engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data remain the intellectual property of the customer. RR Enterprises undertakes not to share, copy, or use such data for any purpose other than the manufacture of the customer's components. Customers requiring a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) are encouraged to request one before sharing sensitive design data.
Any tooling concepts, fixturing solutions, or process methods developed by RR Enterprises during the manufacture of customer components remain the intellectual property of RR Enterprises unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RR Enterprises' total liability to any customer for any claim arising from or relating to our services — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total value of the specific order to which the claim relates.
RR Enterprises shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profit, loss of production, or loss of business opportunity, arising from any deficiency in our products or services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Safety-Critical Applications: Customers procuring components for safety-critical applications (aerospace, defence, medical devices, structural load-bearing applications) are responsible for ensuring that their specifications, inspection requirements, and acceptance criteria are appropriate for the intended use. RR Enterprises does not independently verify the suitability of components for specific end-use applications.
